Gattolino apartment is located on the last floor of a nineteenth century building in the lively neighbourhood of Porta Romana anciently called “Porta a San Pier Gattolini”.
The apartment, which is about 100 square meters wide, can host up to five people and it is gifted with a large and liveable terrace amazingly overlooking the entire city.
It is very bright and silent and it is furnished with antique Tuscan furniture.
Guests have at their disposal two wide double bedrooms (one of which can be set with two single beds, if necessary) and a third room, located on the upper level and equipped with a single sofa bed.
All accommodations are prepared for offering an excellent rest: air conditioning, slatted base, ergonomic mattresses and high-quality bed linen.
The windowed bathroom conveniently serves the two double bedrooms and it is has both a shower and a bath tub.
There is a fully equipped kitchen where guests can prepare tasty home cooked meals to be consumed together at the dinner table which opens onto a little terrace planted with aromatics.
Next to the kitchen, the doors of a finely decorated wardrobe hide a tiny laundry room, just in case it is needed.
During home relaxation, a bright cozy double living room will be perfect in every time of the day for reading a book, listening to music or watching your favourite series on the smart tv.
The attic on the upper floor, which is decorated by a Florentine artist as a tiny tropical forest, is provided with a sofa bed and it offers a charming private corner from the rest of the apartment.
When the weather is good, a lot of time can be spent outside, on the wide panoramic terrace. Al-fresco dining or relaxing in the sitting area overlooking the city will be always possible, thanks to the lightings that make the space liveable also by night.
Please note the apartment is located at the fourth floor and there is no lift. The staircase is wide and not steep. However, if necessary, a service of luggage transport to the floor can be arranged upon request and at extra charge.

The apartment is located in the lively neighborhood of Porta Romana and can be reached by public transport or by car, just outside the Limited Traffic Zone. Parking is available in the surrounding streets and is subject to charges from 8 am to 8 pm.
The Porta Romana neighborhood has retained much of its traditional popular soul. It offers all the services you will need and you will immediately feel at home.
Although adjacent to the Oltrarno, the area enjoys more tranquility as the houses are scattered to make way for countryside areas. The apartment is in the perfect location to explore not only the usual routes, but also a side of Florence away from the hustle and bustle of the historic center, towards the wonderful hills of Arcetri, Marignolle, and Bellosguardo. You will be amazed by the lush greenery of cypresses, olive trees, and pines, and by the aristocratic villas that line these paths, designed to offer you some of the most picturesque corners of the city.
